The Cottbus Prison Memorial is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, the State of Brandenburg and the City of Cottbus; this funds the salaries of a large part of the staff. The annual operating costs of about EUR 130,000 have to be covered by the association Menschenrechtszentrum Cottbus as the owner and operator of the memorial from entrance fees, guide fees, book sales, rentals and donations.
Your donation will help us to come to terms with the injustices committed during the two German dictatorships and ensure the preservation of the memorial site.

Make a permanent donation
Become a permanent donor as a private person or company with a monthly, semi-annual or annual donation! Even a small donation helps! As a company, you send a signal to your customers and employees that you are committed to coming to terms with the injustices committed on German soil and to upholding human rights.

For your gift donation in the name of the person concerned, we will issue a certificate on request, which we will send to you by post.
